SUNY Delhi Women's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Samantha Schmidt, the head coach. SUNY Delhi lists a one person women's soccer staff, so every recruit email lands with the head coach directly and there is no coordinator filtering the inbox.

As general context, NCAA Division III schools do not award athletic scholarships. Aid at D3 schools comes through academic merit and need based packages, and D3 coaches often recruit later in the cycle than D1 programs. SUNY Delhi ranks in the lower part of its division by Massey rank, so a prepared recruit who follows up is more likely to get a direct look than at a top ranked program.

SUNY Delhi is a public mid sized school on a rural campus with about 2,843 undergraduates. At a mid sized school the women's soccer staff typically works with admissions but does not control it, so have your transcript ready when a coach asks. The acceptance rate is 89 percent, and the middle SAT range is 910 to 1160, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
