Santa Monica College Men's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Tim Pierce, the head coach. The men's staff is small, with one associate head coach alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistant so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, junior college programs run two year rosters, many can offer athletic aid, and they are a common route for players who plan to move on to a four year program. Because Santa Monica College is unrated, do not assume the roster is easy to make; write the first email the same way you would for a ranked program and ask the staff how they see the recruiting class.

Santa Monica College is a large college on an urban campus with about 21,440 undergraduates. At a large university the men's soccer staff is one of many programs competing for attention, so be specific about position, graduation year, and why this roster. The acceptance rate is 100 percent, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.

Inkbound has verified email addresses for 2 of the 2 coaches listed for Santa Monica College men's soccer and drafts the introduction after signup, sent from your own Gmail so replies come back to you. Inkbound does not have a Massey rank for Santa Monica College men's soccer, so the program is listed as unrated and has no competitiveness tier. That is a gap in the data, not a judgment about the program. Unranked programs range from newer teams to established ones with limited public results, so treat it like any other target and ask the staff directly about roster needs.
