Santa Barbara City College Men's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Alex Zermeno, the head coach. Santa Barbara City College carries a larger men's soccer staff, with one associate head coach, one assistant coach and one goalkeeper coach listed beside the head coach. On staffs this size recruiting is usually split, so address the head coach and include the assistant most likely to run recruiting.

As general context, junior college programs run two year rosters, many can offer athletic aid, and they are a common route for players who plan to move on to a four year program. Because Santa Barbara City College is unrated, do not assume the roster is easy to make; write the first email the same way you would for a ranked program and ask the staff how they see the recruiting class.

Santa Barbara City College is a mid sized college on an urban campus with about 9,889 undergraduates. At a mid sized school the men's soccer staff typically works with admissions but does not control it, so have your transcript ready when a coach asks. The acceptance rate is 100 percent, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
