Longwood University Women's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Todd Dyer, the head coach. The women's staff is small, with one associate head coach alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistant so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, NCAA Division I is the highest level of college soccer. D1 programs may offer athletic scholarships, and most D1 rosters are largely settled a year or more before a recruiting class enrolls. Longwood University ranks in the lower part of its division by Massey rank, so a prepared recruit who follows up is more likely to get a direct look than at a top ranked program.

Longwood University is a public mid sized school in a college town with about 3,015 undergraduates. At a mid sized school the women's soccer staff typically works with admissions but does not control it, so have your transcript ready when a coach asks. The acceptance rate is 90 percent, and the middle SAT range is 1030 to 1210, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
