As general context, NCAA Division III schools do not award athletic scholarships. Aid at D3 schools comes through academic merit and need based packages, and D3 coaches often recruit later in the cycle than D1 programs. Franklin College ranks in the lower part of its division by Massey rank, so a prepared recruit who follows up is more likely to get a direct look than at a top ranked program.

Franklin College is a private small school on a suburban campus with about 900 undergraduates. On a campus this size the women's soccer staff usually knows the admissions office well, so academic fit comes up early in the conversation. The acceptance rate is 70 percent, and the middle SAT range is 1060 to 1240, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
