William Peace University Women's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Becky Scroger, the head coach. The women's staff is small, with one assistant coach and one goalkeeper coach alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistants so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, NCAA Division III schools do not award athletic scholarships. Aid at D3 schools comes through academic merit and need based packages, and D3 coaches often recruit later in the cycle than D1 programs. Because William Peace University is unrated, do not assume the roster is easy to make; write the first email the same way you would for a ranked program and ask the staff how they see the recruiting class.

William Peace University is a private small school on an urban campus with about 666 undergraduates. On a campus this size the women's soccer staff usually knows the admissions office well, so academic fit comes up early in the conversation. The acceptance rate is 94 percent, and the middle SAT range is 1080 to 1225, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
