San Diego Mesa College Men's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Ray Taila, the head coach. The men's staff is small, with one assistant coach and one staff alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistants so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, junior college programs run two year rosters, many can offer athletic aid, and they are a common route for players who plan to move on to a four year program. Because San Diego Mesa College is unrated, do not assume the roster is easy to make; write the first email the same way you would for a ranked program and ask the staff how they see the recruiting class.

San Diego Mesa College is a large college on an urban campus with about 16,098 undergraduates. At a large university the men's soccer staff is one of many programs competing for attention, so be specific about position, graduation year, and why this roster. The acceptance rate is 100 percent, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
