Ouachita Baptist University Men's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Wes Holifield, the head coach. The men's staff is small, with one assistant coach alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistant so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, NCAA Division II programs may offer athletic scholarships, usually as partial awards split across the roster, and many D2 staffs keep recruiting actively through a player's senior year. Because Ouachita Baptist University is unrated, do not assume the roster is easy to make; write the first email the same way you would for a ranked program and ask the staff how they see the recruiting class.

Ouachita Baptist University is a private small school in a college town with about 1,602 undergraduates. On a campus this size the men's soccer staff usually knows the admissions office well, so academic fit comes up early in the conversation. The acceptance rate is 67 percent, and the middle SAT range is 1070 to 1280, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
