Jackson State University Women's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Dr. Ted Flogaites, the head coach. The women's staff is small, with one assistant coach alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistant so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, NCAA Division I is the highest level of college soccer. D1 programs may offer athletic scholarships, and most D1 rosters are largely settled a year or more before a recruiting class enrolls. Jackson State University ranks in the lower part of its division by Massey rank, so a prepared recruit who follows up is more likely to get a direct look than at a top ranked program.

Jackson State University is a mid sized school on an urban campus with about 4,600 undergraduates. At a mid sized school the women's soccer staff typically works with admissions but does not control it, so have your transcript ready when a coach asks. The acceptance rate is 93 percent, and the middle SAT range is 820 to 1070, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
