Aid at D3 schools comes through academic merit and need based packages, and D3 coaches often recruit later in the cycle than D1 programs. College of Wooster ranks in the upper part of its division, so the staff has options; explain in one line why this school and this roster fit you, not just that you want to play college soccer.

On a campus this size the men's soccer staff usually knows the admissions office well, so academic fit comes up early in the conversation.
