College of the Siskiyous Men's Soccer Recruiting

Start with Ed Kephart, the head coach. The men's staff is small, with one assistant coach alongside the head coach, so the head coach almost certainly reads recruiting mail personally. Copy the assistant so the whole staff sees the same message.

As general context, junior college programs run two year rosters, many can offer athletic aid, and they are a common route for players who plan to move on to a four year program. Because College of the Siskiyous is unrated, do not assume the roster is easy to make; write the first email the same way you would for a ranked program and ask the staff how they see the recruiting class.

College of the Siskiyous is a small college on a rural campus with about 1,190 undergraduates. On a campus this size the men's soccer staff usually knows the admissions office well, so academic fit comes up early in the conversation. The acceptance rate is 100 percent, so include your grades and any test scores in the first message.
